This year saw the fifth annual release of Tio Pepe’s Finos Palmas range. The range includes 4 rare, barrel-selected Fino and amontillado sherries, all bottled “en rama” without filtration or clarification.
Una, Dos and Tres Palmas all started life in the Tio Pepe solera and are six, eight and ten years old respectively. Cuatro Palmas, the fourth and rarest wine, is an amontillado of around 50 years in age and was drawn from one of four unique barrels remaining in the bodega.
