The incredible Tio Pepe Cuatro Palmas has been awarded the ultimate Champion of Champions Trophy at the 2019 International Wine Challenge, reinforcing the outstanding success of this premium sherry. The Tio Pepe Palmas range is a special selection of aged Fino and Amontillado sherries, released each autumn. The award-winning wine was selected by winemaker Antonio Flores in collaboration with Master of Wine, Natasha Hughes.
The International Wine Challenge (The IWC) is accepted as one of the world’s finest and most meticulously judged wine competition, which assesses every wine blind and judges each for its faithfulness to style, region and vintage.
Described by the IWC judges as, “A stunning sherry with vivid citrus, hazelnut, almond and old furniture notes coupled with a keen acidity and amazing layers of complexity. Poise and intensity on the finish, seamlessly elegant. The taste of time.”
Huge congratulations to Antonio, Natasha and all the team in Jerez, what an outstanding achievement!
